FINAL CONTEST DEADLINE: AUGUST 7, 2008


i received a couple of requests for a deadline extension... so, i decided to give them additional one week.

i know, i know... its unfair for all those people who have submitted their entries earlier but i also want to accomodate those poeple who have learned this contest just recently...

however, this is the final date. no more extention or what not... that's a promise... so sorry...

so okay... i'm looking forward for the new entries! yay!!!

i met them!!! and a whole lot more!!!! such nice and talented people!!! i couldn't help but commission most of them and actually spent over 300 dollars! gaaaahhhh...

and oh! i also met Akemi Takada in person (Patlabor, Kimagure Orange Road) and Shoko Nakagawa (pop star, cosplayer, gamer). it was crazy! i had a picture and a signed official artwork from Takada-sensei and of course an autograph with Shokotan! wah! i was supposed to have a picture with her too but i wasn't able to bring a camera with me so... darn!!!!


anywayz, on to the main part, so, it's less than three weks till contest deadline... i hope by now, those who are planning to join are almost done with their entries and please send it to me already? coz i'm so, soo excited!!! kyah!!!

so yeah, please update me soon with your awesome artworks!

RULES AND STUFF
1. You can submit more than one entry for the contest, as i've stated below. it can also be more than one character for onw entry.
2. No flaming. Especially, don't flame me! i know i'm not the best illustrator here in DA but please, respect me you guys... i get hurt >_<
3. Please stay true to the character's color scheme but if it is really inevitable to change the color flats for what you color "Color Balance" churlaloo, then... well... maybe i'll allow that.
4. I have my own pairings but if you want to draw two characters in an entry of your own choice, it's also fine with me.
5. The contest will be hosted for 2 months but if i don't get at least 25 entries, i may have to extend the contest deadline.
6. I will be uploading some linearts as well. if you wanna color it and submit as a contest entry, it will be o'right! hahaha! you have more freedom by doing so
7. Please, also link the contest in your submission entry's Artist's Comment...
8. Note me your submission!
9. For any more inquiries, request for more reference pic what-not, feel free to note me. i'm nice and won't ignore you
